10 DAYS OF NIGHT & DAY PRAYER FOR REVIVAL

9 – 18 May, 2013

“I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth" (Isaiah 62:6-7)

AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY TO UNITE IN PRAYER WITH MILLIONS AROUND THE GLOBE
PRECEDING THE GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER

Starting on the 9th of May, millions of Christians will find ways to pray night and day throughout the ten days leading to the Global Day of Prayer, following the pattern of Christ's followers before the first Pentecost.

The day and night prayer help us to gradually build a lifestyle of prayer in our communities, as well as to focus our prayers much wider than our personal and national needs as we pray with millions during this time. [More info and prayer guides at www.globaldayofprayer.com]

GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER

Sunday, 19 May, 2013

GDOP

"When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together In one place" (Acts 2:1)

PRAY WITH YOUR CHURCH, ASSEMBLE IN PUBLIC PLACES, GATHER IN HOMES OR SECRET PLACES

United by a Prayer for the World, Christians from all over the world, from different cultures and denominations, from many diverse streams will gather in their homes, or where appropriate, assemble in stadiums, public auditoriums and open squares and many will devote portions of their Sunday morning Service to united prayer.

Some meetings will be small. Others will be large, but each one will be praying with the same vision of repentance and hope. As at the first Pentecost, we’ll worship God openly in Christ’s name and pray for the healing and blessing of the nations. As much as possible, we are seeking to gather in places beyond the walls of our church buildings. [More info and prayer guides at www.globaldayofprayer.com]

On this day we are all praying WITH the world as we pray FOR the world.

90 DAYS OF BLESSING

20 May – 17 August, 2013

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners, and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” (Luke 4:18-19)

BECOME VESSELS OF BLESSING THROUGH PRAYER AND ACTION

The 90 Days of Blessing follows the Global Day of Prayer as an opportunity for Christians to not only continue in persistent prayer, but to actually become the answers to their prayers.

This is an excellent opportunity to challenge the youth and children to go to the neglected places to pray and serve. Their nature is to be there where they can make the difference, so let’s join them in becoming a transformation force in our communities!

Continue with your prayer efforts but also become physically involved in the places that we normally pray for.
