Watchman's School of Prayer 2011 - Feedback

This year, 3-7 October, some 120 believers from 11 different nations gathered together for five full days of seeking the Lord Jesus for spiritual breakthrough in our churches/communities/nations. We give thanks to God for fresh fire released in our hearts.

The focus of this year's school included:

  • Seeking true understanding of who God is.
  • Spending time in corporate prayer and worship for revival.
  • Seeking practical ways of planting and sustaining night and day prayer.

Topics of different teaching included:

  • The heart of the Gospel.
  • Planting and sustaining night and day prayer.
  • Practical workshops on reaching your community/nation through prayer.

Many delegates testified of a renewed depth in their relationship with God. Some were even delivered from the "work" of prayer. For the first time we had people over the big 80 as well as some below 15 years of age. Many have a strong urge to bring along their whole family next year. Here are some comments of delegates:

  • "I received more than I expected. The week was just to short."
  • "My view of prayer was expanded and so much of what was previously head knowledge has become alive in my heart!"
  • "I am rekindled to the First love of my salvation. My prayer life also has been restored. I am recharged with God's love & compassion for the lost."

Some people are still sending in their testimonies of what God is doing after the school. A mother of one of the delegates phoned to share how her longtime strained relationship with her daughter(delegate) has been dramatically restored. Another daughter received deliverance while praying the Psalms together.

Many were already part of a 24/7 watch and more than 50 indicated that they are planning to start a prayer watch in their church.

We thank God for His grace.

Let us continue to stand before God and not lose heart! (Luke 18:7-8)
